How do christians differentiate themselves from muslims?

When both religions are based on Hate, violence and cruelty towards your fellow man? I challenge any christian or muslim to say that they have no hate towards anyone that holds different beliefs than you. If America wasn't so diverse with a sprinkling of us atheists to demand religious equality, you christians would be comittiing murder on those that disagreed with you. This is not supposition, this is fact proven multiple times throughout history. You may say that was in the past, but that is the same thing they said before the last mass murder in the name of religion.
