Hunting Deer- Cherokee Prayer/Giving Thanks?

I'm close to going on my first hunt to try and grab a deer. I have some Cherokee blood in me, and I was curious to see if there were any Cherokee prayers to thank the animal once you have killed it. I'm not religious myself, but I want to carry on the tradition, and maybe pass it on to my boy once he is old enough. If possible, can you type their native language and translation? THANKS!
