What is the best full suspension bike for around $1000 or less.?

I currently have a trek 3700 hard tail and am looking to purchase a full suspension mountain bike. I don't do any extreme jumping or downhill racing, but wouldn't mind if my bike would be able to in case I decide to exploit that area in my future. I currently need a bike that can handle moderate bike trail, steps, curbs, and rather steep hills. I use my bike more on concrete roads than on dirt, but I do have to go over many rough roads, curbs, grass patches, etc. I am 14, and not too familiar with the technical aspects and components of bikes. There are times where I would need my bike for 10-25 miles of biking at one time on either trails or roads and I would prefer the bike to be on the lighter side and comfortable. I am open to suggestions and appreciate the help.
